Acid mist purification tower

Acid mist tower, also known as acid mist purification tower, acid gas purification tower, acid mist absorption tower, waste gas purification tower and fiberglass acid mist purification tower, can remove harmful gases in the air. It has a wide range of applications, high purification efficiency, low equipment resistance, and small footprint, and is mostly used in chemical plants.

work process

The upper part of the tower body is sprayed with alkaline absorption liquid, and the acidic harmful gas entering the tower body from the lower part flows countercurrently with the spray liquid, and passes through the new type of high-efficiency low-resistance packing and perforated plate installed in the tower body, so that the gas-liquid contact is sufficient and the purification effect is good . Widely used in chemical industry, chemical preparation, pharmaceutical, laboratory, metallurgy, light industry, food, new energy, electroplating, pickling, petroleum, machinery, electric power and other industries.

This product is composed of a circular tower body connected by flanges in sections. The specific structure of the purification tower consists of an air inlet section, a pressure chamber, a bubbling liquid storage tank, a two-stage spray section, a swirl plate, and an air outlet cone cap. Its characteristics are: easy production, easy installation and maintenance, high strength, and small footprint. The acid mist exhaust gas is pressed into the inner cylinder of the purification tower by the fan to form a pressure chamber, and then the pressure chamber is distributed to each bubbling tube. The exhaust gas enters the absorption neutralization liquid of the liquid storage tank through bubbling to generate bubbling, so that the gas and liquid are fully Contact to improve the purification efficiency; then enter the spray layer, the spray form adopts double-layer packing, two-stage spray, so that the gas and liquid can fully contact and improve the purification efficiency. The tower can be equipped with a fiberglass centrifugal fan and a plastic water pump or a stainless steel water pump. When the processing air volume is above 10,000 cubic meters, the design requirements can be met by using two water pumps.

The main harmful gases treated by the acid mist purification tower are acid mist (H2S04), hydrogen chloride (HCL) gas and hydrogen fluoride (HF) gas, chromic acid mist (CrO3), hydrogen cyanide (HCN) gas, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia Gas (NH3), alkali vapor and other water-soluble gases. Sodium hydroxide is used as the absorption neutralization solution, the concentration of the solution is 2-6%, the purification efficiency is above 95%, and the purification efficiency can reach 98%. During the experiment, the exhaust gas is collected in the laboratory, and the exhaust gas is continuously transported outward (purification equipment) by the suction of the exhaust fan. The suction noise of the exhaust fan informs the noise reduction effect of the impedance muffler, and the suction noise of the fan reduce the noise level in the laboratory (≤65DB), and then through the conveying function of the ventilation pipe, the waste gas is transported to the scrubber of the system, and the gas is sprayed and washed with dilute sulfuric acid in the scrubber. The gas components containing eucalyptus and the like that are prone to foul odor contained in the exhaust gas are fully contacted with dilute sulfuric acid water mist and fully neutralized. Form a better gas-liquid two-phase intersection and sum. After spraying, the water mist forms a treatment layer with a large porous contact surface in the packing layer in the washing tower to further treat the gas. After the water mist passes through the packing layer, it will all return to the water tank at the bottom of the washing tower for recycling. An automatic stirring and dosing system is installed outside the washing. The automatic filling of liquid medicine will keep the neutralizing liquid in a certain neutral state, and will not cause the phenomenon of uneven treatment or leakage of waste gas due to the deviation of the neutralizing liquid. Finally, the exhaust gas that has been treated and qualified is discharged outside by the suction of the exhaust fan.

The working principle of the exhaust gas treatment tower is to separate the pollutants in the gas and convert them into harmless substances to achieve the purpose of purifying the gas. It belongs to the differential contact countercurrent type, and the packing in the tower is the basic component of the gas-liquid rain phase contact. It can provide a large enough surface area without causing too much resistance to the flow of gas and liquid. The absorption liquid is the main medium for treating waste gas. Its properties and concentrations are selected according to the properties of different waste gases. Its processing unit gas The consumption is determined by calculating the ratio of the moisture flow rate of the absorbing liquid to the inert gas.

The waste gas is inhaled by the air duct, passes through the packing layer from bottom to top and circulates. The absorber passes through the liquid distributor from the top of the tower, sprays evenly into the packing layer, flows down along the surface of the packing layer, and enters the circulating water tank. Due to the rising gas and The descending absorber is in continuous contact with the filler, and the concentration of the fluid in the ascending airflow is getting lower and lower, reaching the discharge requirement at the top of the tower.

Selection of absorption liquid and scope of application: The main waste gas in this laboratory is organic waste gas. Organic waste gas is one of the main air pollutants and is harmful to the human body. The common symptoms caused are fatigue, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, palpitation and asthma. Hematological changes, etc. Organic waste gas can also cause photochemical smog, causing secondary pollution. Both aldehydes and phenolic compounds have a strong pungent odor, and some phenolic and aldehyde compounds can produce foul odors. The chemical method (acid-base neutralization method) is used for the exhaust gas components. The chemical method is to use another substance to chemically react with the malodorous substance, change the chemical structure of the malodorous substance, and turn it into an odorless substance or a substance with a low odor. Use a 6% NaOH solution as the neutralizing solution as the spraying solution.
