Local overheating may be caused by uneven heating. The reasons for uneven heating can be found from the structure of the hot-dip galvanizing furnace, the design and operation of the heating system, etc; In addition, excessive accumulation of zinc slag at the bottom of the pot or zinc ash on the surface of the pot is often an important reason for uneven heating. At the dead corner where the ash is accumulated, the free convection of the zinc liquid is blocked, and the heat from the heat source cannot be quickly taken away by the convection of the zinc liquid, which causes the temperature of the inner wall of the zinc pot to rise in these places, causing local overheating.When the workpiece is put into the zinc pot, the workpiece absorbs the heat of the zinc liquid to raise the temperature, and the temperature of the zinc liquid will drop. The heat provided by the cooling of zinc liquid is in balance with the heat absorbed by the workpiece when it is heated. In order to maintain the temperature of zinc liquid at the normal galvanizing temperature, the zinc liquid in the zinc pot must have enough heat capacity, that is, the zinc pot must have enough zinc capacity. Generally speaking, the zinc content of the zinc pot shall be 30~40 times more than the weight of the internal components put into the zinc liquid every hour; That is, the production capacity of the zinc pot shall be calculated by the output per hour, and shall not exceed 1/40-1/30 of the zinc pot capacity.
